Responsibilities*

General Description:
The University of Michigan, School of Nursing is seeking faculty with expertise in health economics to be part of an outstanding core faculty who are experts in health economics, biostatistics, and advanced statistical methods for effectiveness research, healthcare delivery research and population science. This faculty will conduct studies of health economics that is central to effectiveness science and work with a team composed of experts in the areas of biostatistics and advanced statistical methods. This team will work toward the discovery of new methods and analytic models to drive effectiveness science across populations, sites and methods of care delivery. The team will build a graduate curriculum with a focus on intermediate and advanced methods and statistical analytic techniques that result in graduates with strong analytic research skills to advance the knowledge in clinical and health services research.

The position is expected to be filled in the 2012-2013 academic year. We are soliciting applications from established scholars. Applicants will be considered for the ranks listed above, depending on experience and research productivity. Applicants must have demonstrated research productivity.
